Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Production Assembly Operator in Archbold, OH. The role involves assembling components, inspecting finished work, and supporting safe, efficient factory operations on 1st shift (7am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday) with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

The job requires reading blueprints, basic computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Training is provided to learn all positions within the production work cell, with a focus on quality and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work orders in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a hand-held scanner.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented assembly environment.
• Willingness to learn all positions within the production work cell.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies following established procedures and standards.
• Handle, position, and install parts using appropriate tools and lifting devices.
• Perform visual inspections to verify quality and labeling.
• Verify completed assemblies and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Maintain production tools and equipment in good working order.
• Assist with loading and unloading parts on the paint line as needed.
• Communicate production needs and issues with supervisors and team leaders.
• Support ISO standards by following company policies.
• Identify and help resolve production or quality concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
