Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Production Assembly Operator in Archbold, OH for 1st shift (7am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri). The role includes assembling components, inspecting finished work, and supporting safe, accurate production operations with the paint line and related processes.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using hand tools, and collaborating with teammates to meet ISO standards. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Read and understand blueprints and work orders in English.
• Work both independently and in a team.
• Basic computer skills including scanning.
• Willingness to learn all positions in the cell.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies per procedures and standards.
• Position and install parts using tools, cranes, slings and lifting devices.
• Conduct visual inspections for quality and labeling accuracy.
• Verify completed assemblies and perform minor adjustments.
• Maintain production tools and equipment in good condition.
• Assist with loading/unloading on the paint line as needed.
• Communicate production needs and issues with supervisors and teammates.
• Follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 policies and procedures.
• Identify and help resolve production or quality concerns.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st shift / 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Duties

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies following established assembly procedures and production standards.
• Handle, position, and install parts using appropriate tools, equipment, cranes, slings, and lifting devices as needed.
• Perform visual inspections to verify quality, labeling, component placement, and overall assembly compliance.
• Verify completed assemblies and make minor adjustments or corrections when necessary.
• Maintain production tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading parts on the paint line as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leaders, and coworkers regarding production needs and issues.
• Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards by following company policies and procedures.
• Proactively identify and help resolve production or quality concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• Previous assembly experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work orders in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a hand-held scanner.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented assembly environment.
• Willingness to learn all positions within the production work cell.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record required.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift without restrictions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Able to occasionally assist with loading and unloading parts on the paint line.
