Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 1st shift (Tuesday–Saturday) in Cherry Hill, NJ.

The role involves performing scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a regulated environment or a related technical education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or related environment or technical school graduation in a maintenance field.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices.
• Ability to read and use a volt meter safely.
• Understanding of standard vs metric measurement systems.
• Willingness to learn pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Report to the shift supervisor and receive preventive maintenance work orders.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks on out-of-service equipment to support startup schedules.
• Complete PMs accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain a zero-overdue PM status by managing workload.
• Follow GMP and safety policies and document activities in CMMS.
