Job summary

Ecore-International is seeking a Peeler Operator in a first-shift role (Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm) in Manheim Township, PA. You will safely operate peeling equipment, perform setup and troubleshooting, monitor quality, and maintain accurate production data.

The position emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, and adherence to procedures within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include equipment operation, material handling, quality checks, and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience required.
• Experience operating industrial machinery preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Bucket truck experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math and units of measurement understood.
• Experience with data entry and basic computer systems; ERP experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
• Overtime work possible to support production demands.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust peeling equipment following procedures.
• Review production orders and verify materials and specifications.
• Gather and stage materials for production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for productivity and quality.
• Conduct visual inspections before and during operation.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and report issues.
• Operate production equipment per manufacturer specs and procedures.
• Complete production runs safely, accurately, and efficiently.
