Job summary

You will maintain a safe, clean work area, perform routine machine set-up, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives while observing overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label and package finished goods per customer specs and quality standards.
• Inspect the general appearance of finished products.
• Maintain adequate packaging materials and supplies.
• Prepare cores for machine operators and run orders per product specs.
• Communicate information to shift/department personnel for smooth operations.
• Track multiple orders and verify materials per order.
• Perform routine machine set-up and changeovers.
• Record operating data including downtime causes and performance against plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in 5S audits.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and participate in continuous improvement.
