Job summary

ND Paper in Langhorne, PA is seeking a General Labor on the 1st shift to support the Operator and Machine Assistant with setup, operation, and changeovers. This role acts as the primary quality check during production runs and aims to develop toward operating competency.

The position requires a high school diploma, reliability, and readiness to work overtime on occasion; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and safety gear is required to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior manufacturing experience necessary; corrugated/packaging experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a job ticket and match product specs to physical material.
• Basic math skills for counting bundles and verifying counts.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and maintain a safe work environment.
• Remove and stack finished bundles; ensure output is clean and organized per ticket.
• Monitor counts and flag irregular bundles to superiors.
• Perform basic quality checks on boxes for fold, glue, print, and dimensions.
• Document inspection results and escalate defects immediately.
• Assist with minor changeovers under supervision.
• Communicate production counts and quality concerns in real time.
• Participate in end-of-shift cleanup and housekeeping duties.
• All other duties as assigned.
