Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred and manufacturing experience helpful.
• 1–3 months of related manufacturing, production, inspection, packaging, or material‑handling experience preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain concentration during repetitive inspection and counting tasks.
• Ability to identify visible paint, finish, and surface defects and to count parts accurately.
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow work instructions and use an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Inspect painted parts on the automatic line and identify defects such as coverage, misses, runs, drips, scratches, dents, or blemishes.
• Compare finished parts against job orders and drawings to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Identify, separate, and report defective parts and maintain consistent inspection practices.
• Count parts as they are removed, packed, staged, or transferred and verify quantities against records and labels.
• Use ERP to retrieve job information, print labels, and document quantities and packaging steps.
• Load, unload, and stage materials with pallet jacks or forklifts and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Communicate quality or quantity concerns promptly to supervisors and follow all safety requirements.
