Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. in Wells, MN is seeking a Scaler/Transporter for 1st shift to weigh boxes, complete paperwork, and perform temperature and metal detector checks. You will set up the packing line, supervise the packing area, and ensure labels and dates are correct.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting and bending as needed, and following safety procedures in a high-noise production environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wexxar and tape machine.
• Arrange packing room for the product being run.
• Perform frozen temperature and metal detector checks.
• Advise packers of product type and how product is to be packed.
• Weigh all boxes to meet minimum weight and counts.
• Ensure proper label, stamp and date code are on boxes.
• Keep work area clean.
• May be required to bend, lift and twist frequently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
