Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking an Outbound Material Handler to ensure all orders are picked, consolidated, packed and shipped efficiently and accurately. The role uses our warehouse systems and equipment, including Powered Industrial Trucks, to support outbound operations.

Responsibilities include picking, sorting, packing, operating forklifts and scanners, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

Experience in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and order pickers.
Familiarity with handheld scanners and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Retrieve items from racking accurately using handheld scanners and ERP system; move on foot or with forklift.
Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing.
Pack products accurately and securely using internal SPS system.
Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) following safety protocols.
Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality of work.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; report hazards.
Collaborate with team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Adhere to all company and warehouse policies; support other departments as needed.

Job Summary

The Outbound Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that all orders are picked, consolidated, packed and shipped in a timely and accurate manner. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth outbound operations. This position requires use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which include Powered Industrial Trucks.

Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using our handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipment
Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
Abide by all company and warehouse policies
Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience

1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required
