Job summary

Dollar Tree Distribution INC in San Bernardino, CA is seeking an Order Selector to pick and move merchandise within the distribution center, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders.

Schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a pay rate of $22.50 per hour (range $22.50-$26.00) for a full-time position. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and adapt to department needs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise.
• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure accuracy and condition.
• Identify, separate, label and palletize items for relocation.
• Replenish pick areas as needed.
• Fill orders by moving merchandise to fulfillments.
• Unload merchandise onto trailers and ensure correct loading.
• Verify shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.
• Perform varied duties depending on department needs.
• Department assignments change with DC needs.

Essential Job Functions

• Load and unload merchandise


• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise is as ordered and not damaged


• Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise to be relocated to appropriate area of distribution center


• Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or report various requests for needed merchandise


• Fills merchandise orders by selecting and moving merchandise from active location to conveyor, and/or slot to pallet or box to fill orders


• Unload merchandise onto trailers by moving merchandise from trailer to floor.


• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged and is loaded onto proper trailer


• Perform general housekeeping duties


• Perform varied duties (as listed above) depending on department assignment


• Department assignment will change depending on Distribution Center needs

Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Ability to lift up to 70lbs


• Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required


• Previous warehouse experience preferred
