Performance Food Group (New) is hiring in Bolingbrook, Illinois for a full-time warehouse role. Employees will select food products from multi-level storage systems to fill customer orders, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.25 hourly, with comprehensive benefits beginning on day one.

Preferred candidates will have prior warehouse experience, be capable of lifting heavy items, and be willing to work in various temperature environments. A motorized pallet jack certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 10-35 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, Monday‑Friday start: 5:00 AM. Shifts end when daily work is completed; end times may vary based on volume.

Earn $20.00‑$21.25/hr (includes $1.25 freezer differential) plus incentive pay. Day 1 benefits | Full‑time | Monday‑Friday 1st shift.

Position Summary

Select cases and other containers of food and non‑food products to fill customer orders from multi‑level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed on pallets and completed orders are moved to the loading dock staging area with an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrapped, labeled and readied for shipment in a timely manner while observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met. Functions as a team member within the department and organization and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities

• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
• Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform a safety check on pallet jack/forklift and insure that all other safety devices are functioning properly. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi‑level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
• Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.
• Transport completed palletised customer order to shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink‑wrap pallet for staging.
• Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re‑charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 6‑12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout the shift
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
• Able to work in multi‑temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass pre‑employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• 1‑3 years warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
• Experience using a motorized pallet jack
• Motorized pallet jack certified
