Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Shepherdsville, KY is hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Order Picker to support our distribution center operations. You will stand for up to 10 hours, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a freezer as needed, with comprehensive on-the-job training.

Starting pay is $20.90 per hour with raises in your first year; you’ll receive weekly pay, Day 1 benefits, retirement options, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off

1st Shift 6:30AM until Finish (shifts vary based on work volume)

You'll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you'll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you'll be asked to work in our freezer, but there's no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. • We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
