Job summary

A leading company in testing, inspection, and certification is seeking a NDT - Ultrasonic Inspector/Trainee. This role involves performing calibrations, conducting nondestructive tests, and interpreting test results on aerospace products. Qualifications

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a NDT - Ultrasonic Inspector/ Trainee, Level I and Level II toperform Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products,manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection followingspecific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results. This role will be 1st shift Mon-Friday at the start and will in the near future be a Sun - Wed (10 hour shifts) or Wed-Sat (10 hour shifts) in the coming months.

Salary: $22.50- $32/hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
• Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and procedures
• Once certified and trained must be willing to work multiple inspection cells at the same time.

Skills / Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Level 1 or 2 in UT inspection a large plus
• Ability to read and interpret information, write legibly, take accurate measurements from a tape measure, present numerical data effectively, and edit work for correct spelling and grammar
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Sufficient vision, either natural or corrected, with ability to pass annual vision exams
• Willing to work overtime when needed
