Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a CNC Milling Operator to join its 1st shift in the Wheeling area. You will operate CNC milling machines to produce precision machined components and load/unload parts, tooling, and accessories while maintaining tight tolerances.

You will read blueprints, perform basic tool changes and machine adjustments, inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, and document production activity.

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC milling or CNC machine operating experience.
  • Comfortable working in a precision machining/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Familiarity with basic inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Understanding of machining tools and basic CNC processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • CNC setup experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision machined components
  • Load and unload parts, materials, and tooling as required
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes
  • Read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications
  • Inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
  • Monitor machines throughout the production process and identify potential quality or tooling issues
  • Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality requirements
  • Complete production documentation and follow established manufacturing procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

We are working with an established precision manufacturing company in the Wheeling area that is looking to add a CNC Milling Operator to its 1st shift team.
