Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education; at least 10th grade or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; handle problems with several concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves mill stocker and quantity sheets; verifies material per shop order and moves items.
• Checks coil storage area for availability and verifies master material numbers.
• Documents coil movements on mill stocker sheets; retags partial coils for restock.
• Compiles stocker sheets and reports to supervisor; participates in inventory control.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
