Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Press Operator in Ohio to operate a metal stamping press for structural components used in wood, steel and other materials. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, and ensure parts meet specifications while loading, packing, and maintaining quality in a fast-paced facility.

Work is in a first-shift, onsite role with a contract-to-hire path. Expect daily collaboration with supervisors to meet production targets and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating stamping presses or CNC machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Proficiency with tape measures and basic math.
• Experience with punch presses and sheet metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate a metal stamping press to produce parts per work orders/blueprints.
• Set up the machine for each job, configure tooling, adjust settings.
• Interpret and follow work orders to meet dimensional/quality specs.
• Load raw materials, monitor production for consistent output.
• Pack finished parts accurately with correct quantities.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in a high-volume environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to meet daily goals.
