Job summary

Belimo is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechatronics Team Lead for the 1st shift in Danbury, CT. You will lead and develop a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance activities, and actively troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation systems on a range of equipment.

You will read schematics, mentor staff, and ensure seamless passdown communication while supporting safety, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership for 1st shift Production Maintenance team.
• Strong experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and technical schematics.
• Mentor technicians and ensure effective passdown communication between shifts.
• Experience with robotics/automation and conveyors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and direction to 1st shift Production Maintenance Technicians.
• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities based on equipment condition, production needs, safety, and business priorities.
• Diagnose and repair complex equipment and support troubleshooting across shifts.
• Escalate safety, staffing, and production-impacting issues to Maintenance Manager.
• Support OEMs, vendors, and engineering during major repairs or upgrades.
