Job summary

Sagepoint Energy in Greenleaf, Wisconsin, is seeking a Mechanic to maintain a dairy-based RNG production facility. The role involves monitoring, repairing, and optimizing mechanical and electrical systems with an on-call rotation and potential after-hours work.

Qualified candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer literacy; a degree or 3+ years of experience are preferred. Safety training and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in maintenance, engineering, or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• General mechanical aptitude is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Basic computer literacy to operate MS Office, CMMS, and procurement/inventory systems.
• Industrial Safe Work Practices including Hot Work, Elevated Work, Confined Space Entry, and Lock-out/Tag-out.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on stationary and rotating equipment.
• Inspect equipment per standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Document maintenance tasks, parts used, and time spent.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime during repairs and servicing.
• Operate offroad vehicles and light trucks as needed; participate in on-call rotations.
