Job summary

Sagepoint Energy in Greenleaf, WI is seeking a Mechanic to maintain a dairy-based RNG facility. The role requires on-call availability, 2nd shift hours (2:30p-11pm), and safe handling of both stationary and rotating equipment.

You will perform maintenance, inspections, and documentation while coordinating with operations to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree or 3+ years in maintenance/engineering, strong mechanical ability, a valid driver’s license, and basic

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in an applicable field or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• General mechanical aptitude is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Basic computer literacy to use MS Office, CMMS, and procurement/inventory systems.
• Industrial Safe Work Practices including Hot Work, Elevated Work, Confined Space Entry, Safe Electrical Work up to 480VAC, and Control of Hazardous Energy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on buildings, tanks, piping, and rotating equipment.
• Inspect equipment per standards and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Document maintenance work, parts used, and time spent.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure safety during servicing.
• Operate off-road vehicles and perform elevated work or confined space entries as needed.
