Job description

Title: Forklift/Material Handler
Title: Material Handler Forklift experience Requried
(need to take written Forklift test and a actual Forklift est on a Forklift)
Shift: 1stshift : 6amto 2pm
Steel Toes Boots or Steel Toe Shoes requried .

Job Purpose:

Provide a clean working environment to ensure production of safe quality food.

Essential Duties:

• Perform cleaning/sanitation, product packaging, labeling, warehousing etc. duties as assigned
• Perform the Daily Cleaning Schedule, Daily Facilities Evaluation and Weekly Cleaning Schedule and complete paperwork.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, safety policies, and procedures
• Perform product packaging operations in accordance with SOP
• Operate forklift and complete paperwork for the following: tote production, organic sugar production, occasional deliveries and shipments
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Understand verbal and written communication
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Previous forklift experience
• Cleaning experience
• Experience in Industrial Food Processing Desired
• Must have steel-toed boots
