Job summary

Allegion is seeking a 1st shift Manufacturing Production Supervisor in Cincinnati to supervise 25+ employees and oversee daily production operations. You will lead teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery of quality products while upholding lean practices and continuous improvement.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong interpersonal/communication skills. Allegion offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Team leader experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of operations, processes, equipment and products preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Principles and Six Sigma usage.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates total team performance by active team engagement at the operation.
• Executes the daily production schedule through people, materials, machines, and processes to meet customer requirements, schedule compliance, and cost objectives.
• Works with Team Leaders and employees to support production plan and customer requirements.
• Ensures quality checks and audits are performed to provide product and process quality.
• Leads safety program and maintains a clean, orderly workplace with 5S standards.
• Oversees training, performance, attendance, labor reporting, and inventory accuracy.
• Promotes employee development and problem-solving through cross-training.
