Job summary

Venteon seeks a 1st Shift Manufacturing Engineer in Napoleon, OH to support manufacturing and drive continuous improvement in an automotive setting.

Collaborate with design and production teams, analyze processes, and lead KPI-driven improvements. Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens PLCs, ABB and Yaskawa robots is preferred. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing plant.
• Knowledgeable of aluminum extrusion, tooling, and fabrication processes.
• Proficient CAD skills for product and tool design.
• Experience with APQP, GD&T, automotive quality and finishing standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and Product Design to facilitate Design for Manufacturability.
• Perform routine process analyses and lead improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Independently monitor KPIs and drive timely performance improvements.
