Job summary
Family Dollar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center in Saint George, UT. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair electronic and electrical systems, troubleshoot PLC-driven equipment, and support uptime across material handling systems.
The role requires ability to work shifts, overtimes, and maintain a high safety standard while communicating with leadership and teams to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology or equivalent.
- 2 years maintenance experience in electronics OR 3 years maintenance in electronics.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic automation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in the DC.
- Troubleshoot electrical/electronic problems using drawings and diagnostic tools.
- Operate material handling equipment and related systems.
- Maintain safe and organized work area and promote safety.
- Complete work orders and documentation per procedures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to restore uptime.
- Initiate improvements to keep equipment at high efficiency.
- Communicate technical issues clearly to leadership.
- Support overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts when required.
