Job summary

The AMES Companies, Inc. is seeking a McClure Woodmill Maintenance Technician for 1st shift, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. The role involves daily start-up operations, troubleshooting, and repairs. Candidates must possess lock-out/tag-out certification, forklift, and man lift certifications. Strong skills in machinery maintenance and basic math are essential. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, and vacation days. This is a full-time, on-site position in McClure, PA.

Qualifications

• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Lock-Out/Tag-Out certification required.
• Maintain current industrial forklift & man lift certifications.
• Knowledge of personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily start-up operations.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Repair and maintain physical structure of buildings.
• Clean and lubricate machinery parts.
• Install and repair automated machinery and equipment.
