Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Plymouth, MI to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing setting. You'll troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

This 1st shift position offers Monday–Friday hours (40 per week) with overtime available and the chance to grow technical skills in a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
• Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
