Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Grade 3 in New Haven, IN. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications preferred.
• At least 5 years of industrial or facility maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical docs.
• Experience with fabrication, tooling, fixtures, and modifications.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended shifts/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

Summary

Full-time opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environmentPerform advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipmentDiagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesSupport equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiativesFabricate and modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment to meet production needsInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to complete complex maintenance tasks and projects
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and operational uptime
• Lead or support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve performance and efficiency
• Safely operate and inspect forklifts, overhead cranes, chains, slings, magnets, and manlifts as required and authorized
• Identify, source, and recommend replacement parts, components, and materials; communicate with vendors when needed
• Resolve complex facility maintenance issues involving structural, mechanical, and basic electrical systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow established procedures
• Follow all safety regulations, operating procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or relevant certifications
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial or facility maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation
• Experience with fabrication, tooling, fixtures, and equipment modifications
• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work extended shifts and/or weekends (Saturday and Sunday) based on production needs
