The technician will support production machinery and facility equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read schematics and PLC ladder logic, and lead other maintenance staff in a fast-paced cardboard box

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical trades.
• Strong electrical skillset, including 3-phase and single-phase systems.
• Experience reading electrical and mechanical schematics and PLC ladder logic.
• Previous experience leading or directing other maintenance personnel preferred.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED; vocational/technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance needs of production machinery and facility equipment through timely troubleshooting and repair.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to help meet production goals.
• Follow established preventative and predictive maintenance programs and assist with their continued development.
• Lead other maintenance technicians in daily duties and maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and PLC ladder logic.
• Perform equipment fabrication and modifications as needed.
• Complete tasks and projects assigned by the Facilities Manager.
• Follow company safety policies, quality standards, and production requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical trades
• Strong electrical skillset, including 3-phase and single-phase systems
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting tools, relay logic, motor controls, and drive systems
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics
• Ability to read and understand PLC ladder logic
• Previous experience leading or directing other maintenance personnel preferred
• Ability to make decisions and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and other PC-based programs
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and mobility
• Must provide own basic hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or GED required
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and PLC ladder logic
• Perform equipment fabrication and modifications as needed
• Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
• Perform additional duties as assigned
