Job summary

MicroPort is seeking a Maintenance Service Specialist (1st Shift) to perform maintenance on CNC and manual equipment at our Arlington, TN facility. The role supports outside OEM technicians and contributes to set-up and repair of new equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reading schematics, and performing preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety policies. A valid driver’s license for local travel and an aerial/forklift license within the first year are required.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical units to locate malfunctions.
• Use blueprints and schematics to determine repair procedures.
• Remove/replace defective units and test PC boards, power supplies, and controls.
• Adjust electrical, thermal and timing devices to specification.
• Start repaired or new equipment to verify operation readiness.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Travel to vendors with a valid driver’s license to obtain parts and supplies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor daily Industrial Wastewater Discharge Points.
