Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment and assist with equipment modifications and changes.

Communicates and collaborates with production associates and management regarding maintenance needs, with support from the maintenance manager. Works with contractors and suppliers as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Prioritize and manage maintenance workflow and tooling needs with management
2. Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment, and update the Preventative Maintenance Program
3. Resolve maintenance issues promptly and communicate concerns to management
4. Identify problem areas and safety hazards, working with safety teams to resolve them
5. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Parker regulations
6. Maintain spare parts inventory and order tools and supplies
7. Maintain good housekeeping, follow 5S and safety practices
8. Perform and train Lock-out/Tag-out procedures under Safety Coordinator
9. Support corporate and division Lean Initiatives and Cost Reduction programs
10. Participate in problem-solving efforts and support team activities
11. Fabricate simple solutions as needed
12. Perform other duties to support the business
13. Overtime as necessary

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Strong math and measuring skills
3. Mechanical and maintenance experience required; electrical experience a plus
4. Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations is helpful
5. Good organizational and PC skills preferred
