Work Now Staffing is looking to hire for Maintenance Technicians for our Carpentersville client.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Shifts: 1st Shift - 6:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

Job Details:

• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment (like chillers, compressors), and tooling
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance checks, inspections, and lubrication of equipment to prevent breakdowns
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative measures
• Equipment Knowledge: Thoroughly understand the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection molding machines, including their mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Safety: Comply with all safety regulations and procedures when working with machinery and equipment
• Collaboration: Work with other technicians, engineers, and production personnel to ensure smooth operation of the injection molding process
• Quality Control: Help ensure that the injection molding process is meeting quality standards
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in efforts to improve equipment performance, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols
• Installation and Removal: Assist in the installation of new equipment and the removal of equipment that is being decommissioned
