Job summary

Alleguard, a leader in protective foam solutions, is seeking a Technical Operator to support maintenance and equipment upkeep in our Bastrop, TX facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, changeovers, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe, compliant operations to help keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (vocational training a plus), hands-on repair experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating, etc.).
Experience repairing machinery and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

Use hand and power tools to inspect and repair equipment and wiring.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure reliable operation.
Repair or replace defective parts and reassemble machinery and components.
Assist with machine operation and changeovers as needed.
Escalate issues to leadership and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
Assist with troubleshooting during production runs.
