Job summary

Camaco in Lorain, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Maintenance Manager in plant maintenance activities, supervising staff, troubleshooting, and approving production-ready setup. You will oversee daily support to plant operations, perform repairs on machinery, install new equipment, and ensure electrical, plumbing, and building systems function reliably.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with Journeyman status in machine repair.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Completion of required training phases as per department.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to plant operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment.
• Install and commission new or rebuilt equipment.
• Operate shop tools, electrical systems and safety procedures.
• Manage building and equipment maintenance across seasons.
• Supervise maintenance staff and projects.
