Job summary

Nidec Minster Corporation is seeking a full-time Machining Support in Minster, OH. This role ensures tooling and machine setups are prepared for all shifts and upcoming jobs, while performing deburring and other machining support tasks as directed by the Operations Lead.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, loading tooling, maintaining consumables inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries. The position requires basic blueprint reading and measurement skills within a manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Follow Minster quality standards for tooling, presets, and deburring.
• Operate moving and lifting equipment as needed.
• Read blueprints and use basic measuring tools.

Job Summary

Nidec Minster Corporation, the largest manufacturer of material forming presses in the United States, has an opening for a full-time Machining Support. This role is responsible for ensuring tooling and machine setups are prepared for all shifts and upcoming jobs, while performing deburring and other machining support tasks as directed by the Operations Lead.

Job Responsibilities

• Employee will perform and assist in the setup of production equipment or independently preset jobs.
• Preset and load tooling, maintain accurate accounting of consumable inventory, and communicate effectively between shifts.
• Complete work in a timely manner to ensure deliveries are made on time.
• Understand and apply Minster quality standards to ensure jobs are performed properly. The machining support employee will be specifically responsible for accurately building tooling, performing job presets correctly, and properly deburring parts.
• Operate moving and lifting equipment used in production.
• Reading of blue prints and the use of basic measuring instruments is required.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Work is a safe and efficient manner
• Must have a mechanical aptitude
• Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.
• Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 40 lbs). Frequent lifting, pushing of supplies and equipment.
• Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling.
• Must be able to ready and follow work instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and follow instructions regarding priorities of tasks or functions.
• A positive attitude and safety minded work ethic.
