Job summary

Rex Engineering in Titusville, Florida, is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to set up and run production equipment, inspect parts, and perform basic adjustments. This hands-on role requires following safety procedures and working as part of a team on a full-time, on-site basis.

Experience is a plus but training is provided. The position offers an air-conditioned facility, regular 1st shift hours, and a focus on quality and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, diagrams or machine instructions.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned production machines according to established procedures.
• Perform pre-operation checks to ensure equipment is ready for production.
• Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
• Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment when required.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and production specifications.
• Make tool changes and machine adjustments to maintain quality.
• Identify and report machine or production problems to the supervisor.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and other production information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Work with team members to maintain steady production and minimize waste.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and other routine machine care.
• Other duties as assigned.
