Job summary

Specialty Building Products in North Jackson, OH is seeking an experienced 1st Shift Production Associate for lumber mill production. You will read, route and perform work as assigned by the department supervisor, operate saws and hand tools, and assemble materials into sub-assemblies or finished products.

This role requires forklift experience and certification, at least 2 years in manufacturing, and preferably lumber experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior lumber experience desired; engineered lumber experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reading, routing, and performing work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Operating saws, hand tools, and other equipment used in lumber mill manufacturing.
• Sew, cut, clip, hook or assemble materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
