Job summary

Brakebush Chicken in Mocksville, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Lineworker for external referrals. You will work directly on the production line, assess product quality, and facilitate flow from start of processing to packaging.

The role is full-time, nonexempt, with a 6:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule and weekend/overtime availability. Responsibilities include sorting and packing per specs, staging materials, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must complete required safety training.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day.
• Previous food processing/manufacturing experience a plus.

HOURS: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with availability to work weekends and overtime.
COMPENSATION: $19.14 Hourly

WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs.
