Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in Newark, DE is seeking a 1st shift Production Operator to operate offline and binding/finishing/packaging equipment, set up and adjust for production runs, and maintain machines for optimal operation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating crew assignments, and training new team members, with other duties as required. This role offers competitive hourly pay and full benefits in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Familiar with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions.
• Maintains machine operating and maintenance records and can write new identification labels for tapes or similar tasks.
• Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment.
• Set up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation.
• May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed.
• May coordinate the assignment of crewmembers and provide training for new team members.
• Other duties as required.
