Job summary

Design Ready Controls Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support inventory control, order picking, steel kitting, receiving and shipping.

You will work 1st shift, collaborating with supervisors and team leads to meet on-time delivery and efficiency goals. Candidates should have warehouse experience, forklift certification, ERP familiarity and strong math, computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use strapping/banding equipment.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required (certification provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control, order picking, steel kitting, and receiving.
• Work with supervisors to manage daily workflow to meet on-time delivery and efficiency goals.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, materials or personnel to the Supervisor.
• Use problem solving with support staff such as engineering, production and management to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Assist or participate in training measures as needed.
• Assist in other areas of manufacturing or perform other duties as assigned.
