Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Quality Control Clerk to perform clerical duties in support of QC functions and to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role involves inspecting incoming materials, documenting results, and using scanners and QC tools. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Safety standards and PPE guidelines must be followed.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Ability to learn to operate and pass motorized equipment tests and obtain license.
• Familiarity with product lines is a plus.
• Cross train to perform other functions within the quality department.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality, quantity and weight of incoming material using various methods and equipment.
• Log and document inspections as well as rejections.
• Follow through on rejections using main-frame computer.
• Use radio frequency handheld scanner.
• Using various QC measuring and testing devices.
• Investigate quality issues throughout the warehouse.
• Operate motorized industrial equipment.
• Participate in department meetings and projects.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Maintain neat, clean and well-organized work area.
• Timely and regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience
