Job summary

Smalley is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Lake Zurich, IL to inspect products and help ensure adherence to measurement standards. You will use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators, perform calibrations, and document results.

You should have a high school diploma and experience in manufacturing; experience as a QC inspector is preferred. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and a collaborative environment focused on accuracy and continuous improvement.

• Utilize different measuring tools, as well as perform calibration on inspection instruments.
• Complete all paperwork associated with the job packet neatly and accurately following Smalley Good Documentation Practices.
• Provide material handling support or any other function as needed.

• Measuring parts with precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, etc.
• Checking and performing calibration on inspection instruments
• Pass required on Inspection and English test

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $18.00-$20.00 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
