Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Dyersville, IA is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Helper responsible for cleaning and painting manufactured parts, loading/unloading the carousel, and supporting production operations.

The role requires ability to read instructions, operate material handling and paint equipment, follow safety procedures, and work with minimal supervision. Physical demands include heavy lifting and standing in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control and related policies.
• Knowledge of general material handling practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, banders, hoists, and lifting equipment.
• Ability to operate and clean a paint gun after use.
• Ability to operate hand tools such as grinders or sanders.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Skill in cleaning, prepping, and painting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Move material from storage locations to/from cleaning or painting stations for cleaning or other production operations.
• Clean items according to specific part requirements; remove oil, grease, welding impurities, slag to ensure paint adhesion.
• Paint items according to specific part requirements; move items to/from paint location and touch up if needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
