Continental, through its Hoosier Racing Tire Plymouth facility in Plymouth, IN, seeks a Maintenance Technician – 1st shift to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across the plant to support safe, efficient operations. You will work with maintenance, engineering, and production teams, gaining hands-on experience in machining, welding, hydraulics, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a mechanical field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical experience are required.
• Certificate in a mechanical discipline is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems across plant equipment.
• Diagnose equipment and control issues using schematics and testing tools; replace faulty components.
• Perform machining, welding, pipefitting, and sheet metal fabrication for repairs.
• Handle hydraulic fluids, lubricants, gearboxes, bearings, and rotating components.
• Use hand and machine tools to adjust and replace worn parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production to improve reliability.
• Follow LOTO, PPE, and safety policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Maintain organized workspace and assist leadership with daily tasks and coverage.
