Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain facility and production equipment. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to support high-quality product output.

You will work in a team-oriented, safety-conscious environment within the Purina Animal Nutrition business, serving producers nationwide. The role supports the company’s co-op culture and commitment to Tomorrow.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others.
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly.
• Monitors performance of plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance; performs regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots, and inspections on all machinery and equipment; documents work accordingly.
• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed.
• Able to multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
