Job summary

Express Employment Professionals – Cincinnati East seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift at a Georgetown, OH recycling facility. You will assist with daily plant operations, monitor equipment, perform maintenance and repairs, and support safety standards while coordinating with directors and team members.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently or in a team, basic math, and a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and insured personal vehicle required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
• Ability to lift, move, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist Recycling Center Directors with daily plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist with maintenance and repairs.
• Supervise and work alongside team members and workforce participants on assigned tasks.
• Operate equipment including balers, conveyors, forklifts, loaders, and sheers.
• Maintain records of materials received, processed, and shipped.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance with company safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with directors, staff, and team members.
• Perform light to heavy manual labor and support facility operations as needed.
