Job summary

Thai Summit America Corporation in Howell, MI is seeking a 1st Shift Facility Maintenance Technician to support our stamping plant operations. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units, air compressors, water pumps, cooling towers, and plant electrical feed systems.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• Be prepared to work with a number of key facility equipment to maintain operations in a stamping plant.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on HVAC units, air compressors, water pumps, cooling towers and lighting grids.
• Adhere to OSHA standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems is expected.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain / PM and repair plant HVAC systems, heavy-duty air compressors, water pumps, cooling towers and lighting grids.
• Respond to Associates concerns, complaints, problems, suggestions, etc. promptly with information and assistance.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and PPE requirements.
• Execute company initiatives and projects as directed by management.
• Utilize MS Excel, Outlook, Word and ERP systems in daily tasks.
• Support preventive/predictive maintenance philosophies and administration.
