Job summary

A.J. Rose Manufacturing in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 1st Shift. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, read schematics, and support improvements in safety and productivity. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and welding/fabrication experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
Experience with maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
Welding, fabrication, and machining experience a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Diagnose failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Install, maintain, and improve machinery and production systems.
Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Assist with equipment upgrades and new installations.
Document maintenance activities and inspections.
Support safety, quality, productivity improvement initiatives.
