Job summary

Motor Technology, Inc. is hiring a 1st Shift Industrial Electronics Technician I to diagnose and repair electronic failures, evaluate repair assignments, and validate functionality using oscilloscopes and related tools.

You will work with schematics, perform soldering and circuit analysis, and document outcomes with attention to safety and accuracy. The role requires 3+ years in industrial electromechanical equipment, a valid driver's license, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial electromechanical rotating equipment, including AC variable frequency drives and DC drives.
• Comfortable working with customers.
• Good computer skills.
• Provide tools and toolbox.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• PLC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate repair assignments and diagnose electronic failures at the board level.
• Analyze manufacturer schematics and use testing equipment to identify root causes.
• Repair or replace components and verify functionality through testing.
• Document work and maintain safety procedures during service.
