Job summary

Inova Staffing is seeking a dependable 1st Shift Machine Operator for a manufacturing team. Starting pay is $20.00/hour with permanent hire at $21.00/hour. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Operate production machinery, inspect finished products, and ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machinery, including forming and CNC trimming equipment.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect raw materials before processing and finished products after production.
• Perform quality inspections on every part to ensure specifications are met.
• Submit first-piece samples to Quality Control for production approval.
• Read and follow work orders, instructions, and production drawings.
• Meet established production goals, including cycle times and parts-per-hour expectations.
• Ensure the correct materials, components, and packaging are used for each assignment.
• Identify and report equipment issues, defective materials, and quality concerns.
• Work to reduce scrap, minimize waste, and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
