Job summary

Advisacare 2 is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living and personal care services in patient homes in the Wheeler, MI area, following an established care plan. Shifts run 8 a.m.–8 p.m. and 8 p.m.–8 a.m., two 12-hour shifts per day.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, medications, and documentation, transporting patients to appointments, and offering emotional support. A rewarding, supportive environment with weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are needed.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear background.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences as per care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Transport and accompany patients to appointments.
• Administer simple prescribed medications.
• Maintain care records and document services provided.
• Support mobility and perform basic exercises as instructed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to patients.

Shift: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. – 8 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist with clients personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver’s License
• Work in a team responsibly and independently
• Good communication skills
• Ability to pass a drug screen (THC)/clear background
