Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is seeking a hands-on manufacturing associate responsible for disassembly of S60 and HDEP heads, following remanufacturing processes. You will log, inspect, and ensure the quality of head cores, operate basic shop tools, and follow safe procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.

Responsibilities

• Log, disassemble, and ensure the quality of the head cores in a safe & timely manner.
• Disassemble head components for heavy-duty trucks.
• Operate computers, access drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets.
• Use hoists, torches, pallet jacks, presses, hand tools, air tools & lifting fixtures.
• Follow standardized work procedures and participate in safety improvements.
